Assalamualaikum, I was wondering if any brothers would like to share a house with me at Sandyford. It will obviously be a 1 year contract. It will be:
1. a double bedroom house, 2. rent at £69pppw and 3. the move in date will be in early October.
It is really close to Northumbria University. If any brothers are interested, do not hesitate to call me at 07765916959. We can meet up and I could make an arrangement with the company to give you the tour of the place.
Wassalam.

Welcome to the Northumbria University Islamic Society Webpage, a society dedicated to assist Muslim students studying in Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne. The webpage contains useful information about the society, activities as well as other informative articles about Islam and Muslims.
Please leave your comments after you have finished browsing the page.Thank you for visiting us and please check back regularly for any updates.
The Islamic society at Northumbria University was formed in 1991. As the number of Muslims under and post graduate students increased, a clear need for a society became apparent. The society’s main aim was to improve services for the Muslim students, and to promote a proper view of the Muslim and Islam both in and outside the university.
The membership of the society has been on the increase right through the 90's. The society includes members from all faculties and campuses of the university. The members come from all over the world.
Friday Prayers
We conduct Friday Prayer on campus every Friday. Please note that as the space is very limited, please come as early as you can so that the prayer can be organised on time. The selection of khateeb and muadzin has been allocated by the committee members and if any member of the society is willing to present a Friday sermon, please contact the society today.
Daily Prayers
Daily prayers will be taking place in the prayer room according to the stated timetable as displayed in the Prayer Room. It will be led by a member of the committee or other brothers who have volunteered for the prayer.
Where we are
The society is registered with the Northumbria University Students Union. We are based in the Prayer Room, Ground Floor, Northumberland Building (adjacent to the Newcastle Business School Reception) with separate entry for brothers and sisters.
The access to the Prayer Room is only open to students and staff at the University and you have to contact Br. John Yahya Dunne via email john.dunne@unn.ac.uk for the code to the door.
